Overview
Studio OS Creative is a production-management app designed for photographers, videographers, content creators, creative teams, and agencies. Depending on the features you use, Studio OS Creative may process account information, production data, collaboration information, device information, and content you choose to enter into the app.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create or use a Studio OS Creative account, we may receive information needed to identify and authenticate your account. This may include an Apple-provided user identifier, your name if Apple makes it available, and an email address or Apple private relay address if you choose to share one.
Production and business information
We process information you choose to add to Studio OS Creative, including details about shoots, shot lists, schedules, clients, contacts, team members, gear, deliverables, invoices, time tracking, production notes, and similar creative-business information.
Collaboration information
If you invite people to collaborate, Studio OS Creative may process invitation records, account identifiers, roles, invitation status, mentions, and related activity needed to make shared production features work.
Device and technical information
We may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as device push-notification tokens, session information, app version, request metadata, error information, and information used to prevent abuse or excessive requests.
Location and weather-related information
If you use a location-based feature, Studio OS Creative may process a location, venue, shoot address, or other location information you provide. If a feature requests your device location, iOS permission controls apply. Location information may be used to provide production context such as weather information for a shoot.
Support information
If you contact support, we may receive your message, screenshots or recordings you choose to provide, account information needed to locate the issue, and other details you include in the request.
Sofi AI information
When you use Sofi, Studio OS Creative may process prompts and instructions you submit to Sofi; shoot or project context you intentionally share with Sofi; brand-voice preferences; recent Sofi conversation messages needed to generate contextual responses; generated responses; and limited technical and usage information used for allowances, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
Studio OS Creative tracks Sofi text-generation allowances using an account-related identifier and generation timestamps. Studio OS Creative does not send the raw Sign in with Apple identifier to OpenAI for this purpose. A privacy-preserving derived safety identifier may be provided instead.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain Studio OS Creative, authenticate accounts, sync production information, enable collaboration, deliver notifications you allow, generate requested documents or outputs, troubleshoot problems, protect the service from abuse, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and develop or improve app features.
Studio OS Creative is not designed to use your production information for cross-app behavioral advertising.
3. Apple services
Sign in with Apple
Studio OS Creative uses Sign in with Apple for account authentication. Apple controls the information you choose to share through Sign in with Apple. If you use Hide My Email, Studio OS Creative may receive an Apple private relay address instead of your personal email address.
Apple cloud services
Some Studio OS Creative information may use Apple cloud technologies such as iCloud or CloudKit where those services are enabled in the app. Data handled through Apple services is also subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices.
4. Push notifications
If you allow notifications, Studio OS Creative may register a device token with Apple Push Notification service and our backend so the app can send relevant operational notifications, such as team invitations, invitation updates, mentions, and similar collaboration activity.
You can control notification permissions at any time through iOS Settings. Disabling notifications does not delete your Studio OS Creative account or production data.
5. Collaboration and shared information
Studio OS Creative includes collaborative workflows. When you invite another person to a shoot, production, team, or other shared workspace, information associated with that shared item may become visible to the people you authorize, based on the permissions and roles available in the app.
Only share client, crew, production, or business information that you are authorized to share. You are responsible for deciding what information to add to shared workspaces and who you invite to access it.
6. Sofi and AI-Generated Content
Sofi is the AI creative assistant available within Studio OS Creative. Users can use Sofi to create captions, hooks, scripts, loops, calls to action, content ideas, and other creative guidance.
When a user submits a request to Sofi, Studio OS Creative may transmit the prompt and relevant information voluntarily supplied by the user, such as selected shoot details, project context, brand voice, and recent conversation messages, to OpenAI for processing through its API. Sofi’s text features currently use OpenAI’s GPT‑5.6 Luna model. GPT‑5.6 Luna does not power image generation within Studio OS Creative. Image-generation features use a separate service.
This information is processed to generate the requested response, operate the feature, prevent abuse, maintain security, and troubleshoot service errors. Users should not submit passwords, payment-card information, government identification numbers, private health information, or other unnecessary sensitive information through Sofi.
AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Users are responsible for reviewing names, dates, pricing, claims, captions, scripts, and other important information before publishing or relying on generated content.
Studio OS Creative is an independent product and is not sponsored, endorsed, or certified by OpenAI. OpenAI’s handling of information submitted through its services is also governed by its applicable privacy and service terms.

7. Service providers and data sharing
We may use service providers to operate Studio OS Creative. Depending on the feature, these may include Apple for authentication, cloud services, and push notifications; Cloudflare for backend infrastructure, secure sessions, API requests, rate limiting, and related service functions; weather-data providers when weather features are used; and AI service providers when you intentionally use an AI-powered feature.
OpenAI. OpenAI provides text-based AI processing for Sofi, including generation of captions, hooks, scripts, content ideas, and conversational creative assistance. When Sofi is used, Studio OS Creative may transmit information necessary to process the user's request as described in the “Sofi and AI-Generated Content” section above. OpenAI’s handling of information submitted through its services is subject to its applicable terms and privacy practices.

Information is shared with service providers only as reasonably necessary for the feature or service being provided, subject to the provider's applicable terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a business reorganization where legally permitted.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Studio OS Creative, maintain your account and requested services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect the integrity of the service. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it is needed.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete it, anonymize it, or allow it to expire through normal system processes, subject to legal, security, backup, and technical requirements.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures may include secure authentication, token verification, protected sessions, access controls, encrypted network connections, and rate limiting.
No internet, cloud, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please protect your Apple account, device passcode, and any device used to access Studio OS Creative.
10. Your choices and account deletion
You can choose what production information you enter, which collaborators you invite, whether to enable notifications, whether to allow location access when requested, and whether to use optional AI-powered features.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your Studio OS Creative account by using the account controls available in the app or by contacting Studio OS Creative Support.
If you delete your account, information associated with the account will be removed or scheduled for deletion unless we are required or permitted to retain specific information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, backup, or other legitimate purposes.
11. Children's privacy
Studio OS Creative is intended for creative professionals, teams, and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Studio OS Creative, contact Support so the matter can be reviewed.
12. Changes to this policy
Studio OS Creative will continue to evolve. We may update this Privacy Policy when features, service providers, legal requirements, or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy is revised. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
